every lease is different, so you have to read the fine print of yours. but theres NOTHING in ANY lease about who you can or can not have over your apartment. that is simply nobodys business. thats your privacy, in which you pay for every month!!!!

now, if shes staying there for months, and the landlord happens to notice her car always parked outside, and her doing the grocery shopping, etc etc...then ya, she can either say you have to get her on the lease as well or pay extra for her BUT, i have NEVER ONCE had to pay extra for being a roomate.
