    They never came to a consensus about the original calculations on it, actually, in other words what the effects would be. The nuclear winter itself, however, is considered very probable, and almost certainly devastating. Exactly how devastating is what they aren't sure about.

                    "the world" no contest. You're not talking shitty third world countries here you're talking advanced western nations every bit as advanced (most new projects are multinational)..
                    America wouldn't lay down and roll over, and would exact an incredibly heavy toll on the invaders but it's inevitable.. theres just too much force and capability when you combine everyone up.. it's an unfair comparison.

                                    The problem with that is every asshole and his dog has a similar capability - bio is "easy" to play with and many countries have been playing that game from WW2. Even small "extremists" - call them today's terrorists, have a measure of this power.

                                    It's better not to think about it and hope nobody is unbalanced enough to even consider it!
