The Pakistani that's been captured is working for a subcontractor of Kellogg Brown & Root, a Haliburton company.

They say there are papers identifying the Marine, but aren't being released until his family is notified.

These 2 plus the 3 Turks make 5 total right now, right?

The tape showed a blindfolded, mustached man wearing a blindfold and displayed a Marine identification card in the name of Wassef Ali Hassoun. Al-Jazeera said he was of Pakistani origin.

Arab television broadcast videotape Sunday of two men said to be of Pakistani origin taken hostage by militants: a driver for an American company and a blindfolded man in military fatigues described as U.S. Marine lured from his base. Insurgents threatened to behead them both.

.....In the statement, the military said a corporal by that name had been missing from his unit in the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force since June 21. The statement said Hassoun was of Lebanese descent.

When I was in the military we had' em from a bunch of countries. we had a German and he got drafted by the German army while he was still in the US army

They had 2 ship him to the states.

I'm thinking it's the real deal, though there still are some "fishy" details surrounding this. He has been absent from his unit since June 21st, but was reported missing last Monday? And if he's been gone this long, why has all this been showing up now? Wouldn't they have beheaded him already? Something isn't right.
