Too aggressive to me is when I tell you that I am not currently interested and people keep pushing. The truth is that most people don't have the balls to tell you that they are not interested.
Quite often when people don't close a deal, it's based on a price issue. Because of this, I will notify them if the price drops or if I am able to cut a better deal.
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a fairly well known and decent sized program to shoot solo girls sites. I quoted them the basic rate per site for the 4 sites they were interested in. They came back and asked if that rate was for all 4 sites. The rate quoted would not even cover my model expenses for the 4 sites.
The person in question then basically said they had to think about it. Now, we both know tha the price was WAY more than he was expecting and that there is no way that he is considering the offer. So.....I've not bothered following up with him.
