Slightly off-topic, but any one of you golf afficionados know the best place to find *good* used clubs on the 'net? My father asked me to look around. I know eBay, of course, but any golf-specific auction sites, etc. anyone can personally recommend?

We are opening up a large golf complex in about 2 years time - We also deal in new and used clubs - What sort of thing are you looking for - Email me at dyker (AT) harlotcash.com and I will most likely get you something decent at a low price
Funny, my best round ever is also an 81 when I was 16 years old. I golfed once a week back then with another pretty good golfer.
I took it up again about 12 years later, but I haven't been able to break 90. Granted I only play once or twice a year and with golfers who aren't very good.
It's amazing how you can raise your game when you're playing with better players.
i broke 80 once - but really i did cheat so i can't really claim it - typical stuff like giving myself better lies a few times - if i had known i was going to have a magical day i wouldn't have done that and seen how low i could have gone if i played it 100% by the rules - might have been able to do it legitimately.
the thing that keeps all golf nuts addicted is that everybody, even duffers, will have a couple holes or shots that convince you you are close to becoming good.
Golf is a sport u have to do alot of to get good at - the only summer i played alot i got down into the mid 80's on decent course. Bet i'd be hard pressed to break an honest 100 now.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!
so far then, a 78 and an 82. I'm pretty happy. Although my driving sucked, much sohrter, and a lot more wayward. Biggest difference from this year to last-my irons are going straight and long.
