Affiliates Shmaffiliates... signed up under my own ID and no sales stats

I have to admit that out of the 7 I tried 4 credited me with a sale, 3 did not. 3 very popular ones though.

Two of the 4 got cancelled as they didn't have the content they advertised and one was pathetic enough to have non-downloadable movies! How lame!

I made it a new policy that before I promote an affiliate I have to be a customer who is satisfied first or I won't sell them. Customer satisfaction is a MUST.

This business is getting weirder each day.

its amazing how many people dont signup themselves before promoting a program.

How about naming some names of those who didnt show sales.

No, and the reason why is I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. With all the redirecting, hijacking thisis and thatsis it's amazing anyone is getting any sales.

Time will tell if it's me, them, or some outside force at work.

ONE thing I will say is we all need to crack down on those sites spitting out trojans and shit. I mean that. I found something yesterday that was shocking but caught it just in time.

Oh, and if you visit gaming sites like I do, I've never seen so many popups and trojans and adware, spyware! Just think about the poor parents who let their kids use their 'puters and no idea what's filtering through.

if you got a sale and it didn't credit to your account, and you don't say who it is here...that is basically conspiracy to commit larceny, or some other stupid legal way of saying you are the one letting it go on for not saying who it is...and if other webmasters get ripped off from this moment on from that program, it is partially your fault

sorry, you not revealing names, is just as bad as them stealing from you

BUT, on a side note, do any program have ip tracking on the affiliate side of things as well as tracking on the paysite side of things...so if you go and sign up for an affiliate program and it tracks your ip, then you go and sign up for the paysite, it knows it was an affiliate signing up, so it doesn't credit the sale?
