What's the best? Bittorrent? Kazaa Lite? Limewire? Or some other program?

If you want your files spreaded more it's gotta be kazzalite and those types of programs. Bittorent is more of a redefined program where you need to find torrent files in order to download.

I'm looking for music production software that is usually over 500mb big. Which one is better? I've never used Usenet or Overnet. I thought the Usenet system was supposed to be free?!?
I briefly tried Bittorrent a year ago but it seemed slow as molasses.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

There are free usenet servers but they are slow ass hell and it's limited to users. Most isp providers offer usenet so you may have it... mind you the retention and completion rate may very from isp to isp.
About bittorent... The more the seeders the more higherspeed you can get. When you downloaded you probably only had very few seeders and they might have capped upload speeds. Some isp only have 15kbs upload.Comment

Mirc is another option. But staying in queue sucks ;-) Some times you might find T-1 - OC3 bots now those kickass.
