For decades the US and Russia had nukes pointed at each other, and a number of times we were close to nuclear war. However, there are a lot differences with these two countries..... If Russia ever launched nukes at us they knew we would launch back, and they knew they would be hit as well. The US knew the same was true if we ever launched first. That's why it never happened.

If ether Pakistan or India launched first..... The first to fire may wipe out the other country and they might be able to strike back at all.

However, these countries are right next to each other. The side that launched first would be sure to have some effect of their own nuclear bomb for decades to come.

I heard of reports lately that Russias nuclear capabilities were far over estimated and that in reality 50 to 80% of their nuclear missiles never would have reached the United States.

We have Billions invested in India, this could be a big hit on the U.S. Economy.

But on the other hand, im sick of seeing Indians being shipped over here to take US computer jobs.
