Softball is a bigger ball and pitched underhanded. Not sure if its softer because I played softball when I was young, got nailed right in the face with a line drive and was convinced the ball was not soft. It is about the size of a grapefruit, while the baseball is the size of an orange.........hope this helps.

Pretty much just the size of the ball, bats can be aluminum in softball, and how pitches are thrown (underhand in softball).Your post count means nothing.Comment

in high schools, girls play softball on teams and the guys play baseball.Comment
