IMO these Turkish hostages have a chance to be let free.
Remember Turkey did not allow us to use their country as a staging ground for the invasion, much to the anger of our admin, forcing our troops to make that very long drive.
The turkish population was something like 94% agsint the war.
It would be a strategic blunder to piss off a relatively-friendly neighboring muslim country at this time.
