This all stems from the fact that people are LAZY.

The FHG because affiliates are too damn lazy (or uneducated) to make their own.... and the entire TGP model because, "Let's just collect what everyone else makes, throw it all on a site, give it all away for free, and make easy money from sponsor ref links."
