Come to that, redirections and anti-hotlinking make many of the galleries unthumbable except by visiting them one at a time and doing it manually. The same things make it impossible to use link checking software effectively, with the result that since so many galleries are deleted each month, M/TGPs nowadays probably have more broken links and redirections than when they suffered cheating submitters...
