Farenheit 9/11 Open in S. Florida Tomorrow!

The most talked about documentary movie in quite some time opens down here Friday. My cousin runs one of three theatres in the Fort Lauderdale area showing it, and the 7:00 PM show at his theatre was sold out two days ago. He got me tickets for the later show.
Mind you, I know Michael Moore's views are slanted way to the left, but I read an interesting article regarding the factual accuracy of the movie.
The New York Times writer said in one exerpt follwing a screening, "Based on that single viewing, and after separating out what is clearly presented as Moore's opinion from what is stated as fact, it seems safe to say that central assertions of fact in Fahrenheit 9/11 are supported by the public record (indeed, many of them will be familiar to those who have closely followed Bush's political career)."

We've been subjected to almost four years of the administration's view of how things are in the world. It's time to see things from a different perspective.

my hopes have been all along that enough folks would make the time to view this movie.. as i was sure it would indeed help sway opinions and ultimately this damn election.
    I am pleased to read:

"We found that if you entered the theater on the fence, you fell off it somewhere during those two hours," he said. "It ignites a fire in people who had given up."

    fuck bush.

It's showtime tonight! Last night they had a premiere in the area sponsored by the ACLU and there were people coming out of the theatre obviously moved and some in tears. I can't wait to see this.

Moore's views are slanted to the left, sure, but at least he's up front about it, and his facts check out. WAY better then these right wing pundits we've come to accept on TV every day, half of whom pretend to be non partisan and are extremely, extremely loose with the facts.

No doubt he has a political axe to grind and he is somewhat of a cartoon character, but they were meticulous with the facts in this movie, so much so that Moore apparently hired fact checkers so the right wingers couldn't start tossing darts at the movie.
