    its been almost 10 mins and i still can go to Microsoft Windows Update site? Is it only me? i got 512Kbps dsl connection....

    CHICAGO - Government and industry experts warned late Thursday of a mysterious, large-scale Internet attack against thousands of popular Web sites. The viruslike infection tries to implant malicious code onto the computers of all Web site visitors.

      I have a post on this. Its quite devious. Surfers never even realize the trojan keyloggers, and other progs are being loaded into their pc's just by visiting one of the affected major sites.

      That's the most disturbing part.

              your thread was really informative, checjing the existance of the kk32.dll abd surf.dat files.

              running full-system scan (norton). hope this cure the problem.
