    I heard he paid the kid not to testify but i thought there was a new law in place that didn't alow that ? What's the deal ?

                          I didn't hear that he paid this child (pending trial). His settlement from the 1993 case was disclosed and it was enormous.

                          Laws were put into place after the 1993 incident in which the out of court settlement ended the trial. Now, even if the family settled, the prosecution will proceed and the boy will have to testify.

                          There is a court date at the end of the month, but Michael is not expected to attend. Sept is the trial.


                          Because the conspiracy charges are filed, the conversations between individuals (heresay) is admissible in court. This is a huge deal. He may not be found guilty on 'all' accounts but I'm confident that they will secure a conviction on several.

                          Think Martha Stewart. They didn't think she'd get convicted either.

                                                          Last I heard the credibility of the parents involved is seriously at question. They sound like they are almost as crazy as Jackson himself.

                                                          He will probably get off because of this reason, whether he is guilty or not.

                                                          The trial should be good, hopefully we get to see it, just like the OJ trial.

                                                              He brought this attitude on to himself by letting little children sleep in his bedroom, which he has admitted.

                                                              Even if it was totally harmless, he's a fucking idiot for doing that and now he is paying the price.
