What do you do for your affiliates, in the way of tracking?

How many of you have no taken a seriously large step towards converting your webmasters traffic.

I.E. all the surfers using 1 web-cache server..with like aol, & no cookies turned on

what larger steps have you taken in tracking, other than cookies....

I wonder how many hundreds of signups have been credited to the owner as a sale....& the owner just looks the other way

Cost of doing business? Or is it poor ethics?

IP, Cookies and sessions - if one of them doesnt count, another will kick in.
And fuck, if the surfer doesnt join a pimpinpays site, the exit goes to any url you specify, so you retain the traffic anyway!

I track by cookies and session ID. Affiliate report includes every username you are responsible for as well as explicit report of every transaction we've ever had with that user. The site remembers the session ID even if the surfer hacks it away. I never want an affiliate of mine to join through his link and not see his user in his report. My goal is not just zero shaving, I want you to KNOW there's no shaving.

I am now accepting affiliates (program is usually closed), ICQ me if you have kink/fetish traffic.

we used to set a long term cookie, and track by session id ( which is only good until they close their browser) and then also tracking by ip. hell... we probably lost money due to tracking by ip.
