    I Just Got My Basement Finishing Quote $$$

    So I want to finish the basement in my new house, it's around 1600-1800 sq feet. The contractors who we think we will use just came by and discussed everything with us...

    Things I wanted out of the basement... a kickass bar, home theatre room/games room... What my fiance wanted out of the basement.. Bathroom and a bedroom LOL!

    So we have decided to do both her and my wishes and the quote came back at about $85,000... Plus the bar I want to do is going to cost another $15-20k extra...

    Sooooooooo who wants to buy some advertising, I gotta pay for this mofo! LOL! ;)

      Holy shit, that is gonna be a kick ass basement!

      I wanna finish mine.... put in 2 rooms, a kitchen and a washroom and my quote was $30,000. (800sq feet)

                          what the fuck is all included in that 85k? I wouldn't think it would cost tha tmuch to finsih the walls, lay some carpet etc. You including a damn 8-10k/ tv and 10k sound system in there? and of course the bar stocked full?

                                          DH, make sure your basement is done by the end of june 2005, I really need some luxury around me and my wife when we stop by hahaha.
