You know...
It just occured to me who is manufacturing SNUFF videos.

It's not any pornographer in the world.... (At least none we have found)

It's the Military, law enforcement and terrorists. Like I mean lets be real and think about this..

The torture of people in Iraq was Snuff.
The beheading of americans is snuff.
The countless law enforcement tapes of beatings. (And even the circulation of one where a guy in custody kills himself.) Is snuff!

Ok, I make some pretty fucked up shit. But I would NEVER.. Absolutely NEVER. Create or distribute a video of something like this.

And if I tried... I would be sooo arrested and jailed I wouldn't have the time to sneeze.

But these bastards pass this crap around all the time.

Law enforcement does it for "Training purposes only."
Terrorist do it for "a righteous cause."
Military does it for "shits and giggles?"

But you know what pisses me off???
I try and make a video with 2 men sticking their cocks in a girl's ass at the same time and I'M THE BAD PERSON!!

All of the death scenes I've ever watched in TV, movies, and on the web were all done with special f/x and CGI, except for that chechian throat-cutting clip. I've heard of several other real ones floating around but haven't watched them. You're correct, real scenes like that are actual snuff, period, and considered as "news".

as an avid, avid horror fan. did a paper on it in college.

(plus they also get paid to die) i guess money goes to someone else... but how can snuff be commercially if it's illegal worldwide... it is out there in the black market though... big business in russia...

"Government and laws" regarding the combination of sex & violence in content is ambiguous at best. So is the law regarding what types of regular porn is and is not legal in many regions. As to the snuff question, there are fantasy snuff scenes on TV and in movies all the time, so it obviously should be legal to create fantasy scenes with that level of violence for the web. What I and some others have a problem with are the real, graphic scenes of real murder and death, like that Chechien video. I must admit that watching it bothered me some too, and I find it highly odd that a video like that is accepted and considered "news" but yet some people have a problem with an acted-out scene done with special effects. In one someone is actually killed, while in the other the actors all wash off the fake blood and go out for pizza and beers.

Now, what was your argument with me again?

I wasn't really trying to make any argument. I just got into a conversation earlier with my porn-stud. (Gotta be a better name for them then that) And we concluded that the military, police, etc are the only ones that create snuff.

I guess your post read as something more to me in context of all the others.

Actually, it can, and is sniffed sometimes. I believe it's an older culture but my great grandmother used to sniff peach snuff, the powdered kind that comes in a can. Did it for years. Maybe a southern thing, don't really know. I know some people do sniff it though. It's not like the wet "Skoal" stuff that has been mentioned here. It's more like, tobacco powder I guess. Either way, it really has nothing to do with this thread lol. Just my 2 cents. ;)
