Well I got to page 3 of the thread and I would say Alien is right to refuse the dough if its against his principles but Im not impressed with all the mystic quote shit, simply dont wash and is a tad embarressing.

No hating on either party, just my observations on the first 3 pages and apologies in advance if the situation changed on pages 4-6.

I just finished reading all the messages in this thread.. wow... what a whirlwind! I know there are some folks that don't like me much at all and if it's any comfort to those guys well I did almost die, lol.. but not yet! Maybe there was a time I had hate in me but that was before I got a new heart.

I don't smoke any more, no cigs, no doobies, no smoke period.

They did me a nice three way bypass and cut my throat to clear my carotid artery so there again, for those that got a grind against me, I did and do suffer for it... lol.. that stuff hurts and I kid you not. There's more of me that's blue than a smurf..

I didn't have anything much and for you guys to decide on your own to help me out was beyond good. I can't thank you enough. I was able to get the medicines I need which were outrageously expensive without any problem at all. It literally helped restore my life and health to me so for you guys.. you can take comfort in knowing you did a fine and noble and good thing.

I paid the price for 30 years of 2-3 packs a day.. and now I'm free. You helped set me loose. I can't drive for a while and look like a test subject for the frankenstein movie.. lots and lots of holes and stitches and steri strips and bruises where they missed veins and bruises from where they didn't .. like where they shoved a camera up my groin to lookit my heart..

Anyway... it's over.. and I have three weeks left to eat anything I want before I'm on a cardiac diet the rest of my life.. so I have gotten every manner of food from triple layer chocolate cake to chicken strips and pimento cheese spread lol... and every bit of it tastes good..

So every time I eat and every time I take my meds I think about how you guys didn't have to do nothing for me but u did. And I appreciate it.. and can't thank you enough other than to say thank you so very much.

Dokk - You have supported many webmaster's in this industry and your one guy that always comes to mind in remembering the early day. I was speechless when I heard ya had a heart attack. I didnt really know what to say in the thread that posted the news.

This thread did tw things.
1 It made things a little easier for you during a hard time.
2 It taught me a valuable lesson, the kind of lesson where I realised the good in people is always present but the worst in people is what comes out. I saw the worse in myself comming out while I had good intentions. This thread is an eye openner for myself and is now a monument that most likely changed my posting style and communications style forever.
