Iraqi Militants Reportedly Behead Korean Hostage

The peaceful muslims are at work again

CAIRO, Egypt - An Iraqi militant group has beheaded its South Korean hostage, the pan-Arab satellite channel Al-Jazeera reported Tuesday.

The channel said it had received a video tape saying he has been executed.

Kim Sun-il, 33, who works for a South Korean company supplying the U.S. military in Iraq (news - web sites), was abducted last week, according to the South Korean government.

Fuck, that sucks. That guy begging for his life and the militant shouting sent chills down my spine. Watching that makes it clear that the Berg video was fake... the guys in the Korean video were terrorists, and that guy was really begging for his life. Not a bunch of calm white terrorists and a calm victim.

Nah, I don't really think the begging proves anything. It proves that this Korean guy KNOWS his life it being threatened. It could have been that Berg had no idea he was in mortal danger.

Also, people just deal with crisis situations differently. We just haven't seen someone that freaks out like this Korean guy has been. I feel sorry for the poor guy.

Al- Qaeda crashed 2 airplanes into the world trade center towers killing thousands most of whom were never found except for some random body parts. They also kamakazed the Pentagon and still another hijacked plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania. Literally thousands of people were killed.

We are in a war sir. When that happens, your objective is for your side to win. Pulling out our troops and running home to Mommy just because a few muslims say so isn't something we are prepared to do.

uhm.... Iraq was the only arab coutry that were woman HAD rights.
Killing thousands of people to enforce your own regime is ... what binds Bush and Saddam. Only difference is that Saddam managed to make Iraq one of the most civilized countries (to our western standards) in the region (even with the embargo) while Bush made it a big mess.

you guys are only partially right. Yes women in Iraq had more rights then other middle eastern countries...BUT...Still, women in Iraq suffer from honor killings, human rights violations, torture and execution, and political repression.

Let me jog your memory.
Al- Qaeda crashed 2 airplanes into the world trade center towers killing thousands most of whom were never found except for some random body parts. They also kamakazed the Pentagon and still another hijacked plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania. Literally thousands of people were killed.

We are in a war sir. When that happens, your objective is for your side to win. Pulling out our troops and running home to Mommy just because a few muslims say so isn't something we are prepared to do.

Let me jog YOUR memory..or perhaps introduce some FACTS into your memory.

Al Qaeda was NOT in Iraq! They were principally in Afghanistan and Pakistan! We started off going after them in Afganistan and then GW thinks it makes a great opportunity to go after Saddam, knowing people like you will think that there's an Al Qaeda connection (9-11 commission, even top level White Diplomats admit there was NO connection with Al Qaeda and Iraq for 9-11 or any other time), and Iraq was part of 9-11.

We helped CREATE this mess in Iraq where most of these beheadings are going on by going to war in Iraq! They weren't there before the war..but they are there now! We proved to be a great recruiting tools for terrorists all over the world!

You want to call someone an idiot..say that about Bush! HE's the one that diverted our focus and troops away from Afghanistan and Bin Laden by invading Iraq.
