    Splinters - G*damn F*ckin Stupid Things!

    Finally found hooks for my hammock, dug the hammock out from the crawlspace under the house, putting up the hook on the fence, and WHAT should I get but a knuckle full of splinters!

    Oh, and they broke off inside my finger. NICE.

    I tried to take a picture of it for you rotten.com weirdos, but my webcam wouldn't focus on it very well.

    Arg! Anyone got some good tweezers? Mine are all bent.

      What have you been using your tweezers on that they'd all be bent?

                      My Swiss army knife has some little tweezers in it. Maybe if you are a good girl Santa will bring you one for Xmas, and NO I'm not Santa.

                          If you make a little cut over the splinter with a sharp knife you'll be able to get them out without a tweezer. Don't forget to put alcohol on them when you take them out.

                              A sharp knife.. eeks! I am such a wuss. I got one out already and am considering letting the other one work its way out naturally.

                                      I'm sure you'll all be relieved to hear that I am not about to die from my splinters. I just got the last one out. So you're stuck with me for at least a while longer! Nyah nyah!

                                          Yep they are not nice. Got one last monday putting up a new clothes line in the backyard and can't bring myself to let Cobra stick a needle in my finger to get it out. Funny though just came back from getting my wisedom tooth pulled and it didn't hurt but can't get a splinter out of my finger! LOL

                                              Yeah I can never let anyone else do it. Although I'm compelled to offer whenever someone else has one, I can only handle the pain if I inflict it upon myself.
