Hell, I almost got killed last night in a full impact collision I missed by literally seconds.
This idiot without his lights on decides to cut across the highway and is stopped in my eastbound lane waiting for an opening in the westbound traffic for him to complete his turn.
I was doing about 50MPH and couldn't see him (because it was dusk turning to night) until I was only seconds from ramming right into his side and the jerk had kids in the back on top of it who would have certainly been killed too.
Luckily there were no cars in my right lane so I was able to do a full evasive swerve manuever around him, but I thought for sure my SUV would roll, but I was able to control it and it stayed on the ground.
I was shaking after that one. I would have been either totally fucked up, dead or killed others had I not reacted perfectly in those few seconds.
Freaked me out all night thinking about it.
I hate close calls. They make you realize you can be dead at anytime if the circumstances don't go your way.
