exactly.
any company with brains will be manually approving sales, but at the same token, their software should at least reflect the hit / signup sent in real-time
blackmonsters... when you used the other identity, you used a different ip, right?
if i was going to track a referral i would make the identity on a diff computer on a different lan, just so you know cookies / ip is most likely not the reason the tracking didnt work incase of strict referrer settings on the affiliate side. Of course if they have a setup where the click traffic is manually approved / edited then, well, thats another story.
