He loves South Park........ok im a bad father for letting him watch it. Not bad, I just don't shelter him and he is very polite and well spoken
Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!
That's awesome. I hate it when I see parents sheltering their kids from everything. The kid just goes to school and gets it from the wrong people. Usually from the "sheltered" kids who are NOT polite and well spoken.. Better to be exposed to the seedier stuff in a loving environment, where they have a chance to understand the material and put it into context.
Good luck with the surgery. He looks like he has a great attitude, and that's half the battle.
Update!!!!!!! So took my son to Shriners today for his surgery tomorrow. I had wondered why they wanted him a day early, well I found out and was very pleased. When we arrived (me, my son, and my ex) we were given a room, then a social worker came in and talked to me and the ex individually and then my Son with us. After that the nurse came in to take his pre-op info, then came the Physians who are conducting the surgery they were very informative and went through everything that was going to be done with my son, with that said the suregeon sent in a child care specialist who sat down and explained to my son everything that would happen to him up to his surgery. This is my SOns fear, the IV and waking up in pain....she was equipped with every tool that would be used and showed him what they were going to do and made sure my son understood that he would not be in any pain whatesoever! I left the Hospital tonight so that my ex could stay with him and I will be there tomorrow with him for the surgery and will stay with him all night! Shout out to Shriners for being so thurough!

thats cool man. kids see what they want to anyhow, maybe it will be behind your back if you dont let him. always better to wise them to the world than to have other people do it. same thing goes for sex drugs and drinking too.
Thanks again guys......my son is going to sleep now and I told him and read to him your post. He said, Pop are those all your friends and I said yes, they are now, then he said there very nice cuz they don't know me and they said nice things. Then he said, do they have kids, and i said some off them, he goes, well tell them I will pray for them too;) Thanks guys!
What a cool kid
It's amazing how thorough and thoughtful the Shriners were...awesome! Glad to hear that everyone's in positive spirits
My Ex-husband SKULL-BUITRE ran off to Colombia with OUR money and screwed me after I helped him build OUR business.
He is hiding in Colombia and never paid the settlement $ from our divorce!

My 8 year old son is going into the hospital tomorrow for a major surgery on Friday. He has a very rare condition called Arthrogryposis, they are operating on his left hand to straighten it out and will be doing the same operation in July on his right hand. It would be very nice if you could send out a prayer and wishe the best for my Son Adrian! I appreciate it very much!
Those of you who donate to charities, you should really consider Shriners http://www.shrinershq.org/shc/losangeles/index.html
They are the ones that are conducting my Son's surgery free of charge. Yes he has insurance but they were very interested in my Son's case.
Thanks alot guys, prolly wont't be on for a couple days because I will be staying at the hospital with my Son until Monday. I'll try to hit you guys up on my SideKick
Whatever it takes bud! A prayer is what you want and you will get it. I'll put the word out to a lot of people. Hope all goes well!!

You know I am really impressed on how concerned and adult like people are acting in this thread. I was very apprehensive in posting this because I thought there would be one jackass to post something stupid, but to my suprise all of you have been very respectable to me and my Son, once again thank you very much!
