    Last night while hunting for some tail at the club, they had a tarot card reader at the club.

    I went for a reading. K I am very skeptical in genral with anything.. so this chick was like right on the money.... I am not talking about generalized shit either but she said shit that no one would have known but me. I was like in shock the rest of the night


    Anybody have any experiences with em? I think she was a gypsie or something.

                  I used to live in Venice Beach my apartment looked over the t-shirt vendors right in front of muscle beach and there are all kinds of interesting folks there...I got to know a bunch of the regulars pretty well.

                  Anyway this one psychic Terry I just struck up a conversation with him one day and he asked me to go ahead and sit down said if I did he would give me a free reading and that would interest other people and help pick up biz...so I did.

                  Well before it was all over with he had touched on things only those closest would know...and he wasn't like one of those guys that keeps asking questions to pull answers from you like..."there's someone in your life who's name starts with a D..." open ended bullshit liek that...he just kep talking and I listened.

                  The strangest thing he told me was that I loved water and had moved to California to be close to it..and then he said.."you'll get closer."
                  I wondered to myself how I could get any closer I lived in the very last apartment almost right up to the beach...and then 1 1/2 years later it struck me when I bought my sailboat in marina del rey and moved into it....LOL

                  Now I lived on top of the water ;) pretty damn close if you ask me.

                                                                          There's a lot of cool tricks and ways that people can read you. My aunt honestly believes that she's psychic. She goes to conventions, pays for readings on a regular basis and does readings, holds seances etc.

                                                                          When I grew up I was pretty close to her and was intereseted in everything that she was. I eventually grew out of it.. but for a long time I seriously wanted to either be a magician or a psychic... or a mental magician.

                                                                          Anyway, when you get a reading that floors you just remember the last time you saw David Copperfield or Siegfried and Roy do something spectacular... and ask yourself "was that real?".

                                                                          I have seen some amazing tricks and illusions.. and psychics are just that. They can be very impressive .. and to do that they have to be very emotional. Psychics always touch on deep issues.. because that's how they can get you to be as gullible as possible.

                                                                          I don't know how every psychic works their magic .. just like I don't know the secret behind every magician's illusion ... but I do know that there are tricks that are very effective... and very simple. As simple as having an accomplice .. paying attention to reflections, body language, clothing, speech patterns, physical appearance and health etc.

You can't just claim that you know things. I've read articles by people who had been doing astrology for decades, explained everything with it, got 'fabulous' results but then at once realised it's the uttermost crap, that they have also been tackled into it, etc. Can you show me one research/trial that gives evidence towards the things you claim?

I dont look at these subjects emotional like a lot of people but rational. Something i advise you to do as well. I know it sounds really beautiful remote viewing, its something we want to believe in, just like god, just like ghosts, just like aliens. yet all these "beautiful, mysterious" things all lack 1 thing. After all these years not 1 person can show the smallest evidence that it exists.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Uhm, pretty lame answer but i believe in myself and what i see. Im open to everything. If someone shows me evidence of remote viewing now i will believe him, if an alien lands on my boat now, i will believe there are aliens walking around here. But for some reason its always the same people who see aliens, ghosts, who have a 6th sense etc. This are often emotional people. Im not emotional, im rational like i said before.
                                                                                                                                                                                  Im not saying im not interested in all this stuff, just in a different way. Im highly interested in what makes people believe in things like this. Im often busy trying to understand how come that people believe in ghosts or god. To me thats way more interesting than actually believing in something theres absolutely no proof of.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Its a common thing for human beings to believe in something that rationally isnt possible. Why? We tend to look for a reason to live, most people dont want to believe that we are only on this earth to be born, to work and then die. It makes them sad. Just look at all the things people believe in, they are often beautiful things, we talk to our dead grandma, we listen to God so he makes your life better, we communicate with aliens who tells us theres life out there. These are all positive things. If, according to the bible, God was an evil man nobody would believe in him nor the bible. Wed find something else to believe in.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Honestly, i am not close minded. I tend to think that about people who just blindly believe in everything that looks cool or believe in stuff because other people also believe in them. Im open to everything, something the average Jesus believer is not.

One morning on my way to the office, I saw her walking down the street with a gas can... and then there was her car a couple of blocks ahead... I thought to myself... Man she tells peoples futures and has a gas gauge and she runs out of gas... LOL So I guess it's more of a trick, than it is seening your future!
