forget the model fee crap, figure out what u can sell the photos and the videos for, paying the models is your responsibility, customers don't want to know or care if they cost 50 bucks or 500 bucks.

My non-exclusive SOLO vids go for $4.00 per minute.

AaronM... that's why I'm asking.. so you charge $4 per minute for non exclusive does that include the models pay? what about regular stills?

Do yourself a favor and get away from the "models pay" mentality.

There are a shitload of content producers out there who have shot themself in the foot along with the rest of us by offering prices that are way below market value....This of course lowered the market value and now you see a bunch of broke ass content providers who spam their monthly, weekly, or even daily specials just so that they can sell enough sets to pay their rent.

My solo exclusive vids go for $250.00 for a 10 minute scene. I know of other providers who sell the same sort of scenes on a regular basis for as much as $650 or as little as $50.00. That's one hell of a price fluxuation.

Figure out what you are willing to pay your models, factor in your other overhead expenses, then decide on a final price that will make you a profit that is respectable and actually worth your time.

People will buy it at pretty much any price point you set. The difference is do you want to drive a 20 year old Datsun pickup or a brand new BMW?

There are foreign content providers who can shoot a hell of a lot cheaper than I can. They are fools for selling for so much less. Personally, I would like to shoot for less, keep my prices the same, and make higher profits.
