Bought myself a new toy yesterday!

A few peeps i know wanted to buy it, but said it came with no software installed on it... so it was useless.... though it is a telephone after all and i am sure it makes phone calls..

I know two people who had problems with the Razr. I opted for the MPx220 instead. First non-nokia phone I've ever owned.

I've never had any problems with Motorola, unless of course I dropped the phone or something, but other than that, they have always been very solid phones.

You're lucky its not freezing outside anymore, it felt like mine froze to my ear a couple of times in the cold. And now I'm waiting for it to get fixed, taking them 1 month allready.

but it's a nice phone

Yeah I had the SL 55 but it started to suck after 1,5 years. Battery problems, dieing on me etc

i had 3 nokia phones before and they are almost unbreakable....
but i went for the cool design of the samsung

Nice looking phone, I have considered exchanging my Samsung E700 for the V3 myself.

However my main concern is the keypad - how well does it work? I mean is it quick for writing text messages? As I understand it, it dowsn't have regular buttons, but is touch sensitive, right?

well no regular buttons but no touchscreen either, works ok for me but I have small hands ;))
