    Do you know your scripts

    I am on the look out for a templatable news site style script. Something like what newspapers and the like use. Must still be able to support other elements like galleries, archives, message boards, ect. Script would also need various limited access Mod/admin login capabilities that would allow that person to make updates or change their given area, but that are only.

    Do you know of one?
    Would this be more along the lines of a custom job, and if so how much would this run. Please give the most accurate completion time as possible.
    If there is some version that is more out of the box yet requires some customization or tweaking, please also give quote on price and time.

      unless it's pre-made, which i think would be decently slim of a chance, it might run you 700-1000+ i'm guessing.

              NEPHP Publisher from NeLogic.com might be what you are looking for.

                  I might be off base, but it sounds like PostNuke might work for what you want. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of modules available and it's very customizable. Oh, and free.

                  I'm using it here and I haven't even begun to take advantage of its capabilities.

                                  phpNuke development, last I checked, has really died off. postNuke which is a derivative of phpNuke has a very active community of people building addons/plugins. As Mishi said it is a free open source product and most of the plugins are free as well.
                                  As for price of customization, that would really depend upon what kind of customization you needed done. Basic layout changes you can do from within the admin panel yourself for free - creating a completely custom theme/skin with custom graphics, etc could cost you a few hundred or more. It all just depends upon how much you want to do.
