Your stats certainly demonstrate that, although your definition of what you actually did was a bit vague.
Maybe if you provided a little more detail on the actual method (no I don't mean tell us your secrets) then we can see if there is anyone who will dispute the fact that you were the pioneer of the said method or if you were really the first.
On the surface I think you have a good case for being the pioneer.
