Because even in the strangest circumstances there are reasonable explanations.

Like lets just say like darkjedi it was an employee who simply made the page
as a mirror for your page and was going to contact you in the morning and ask you if you wanted a mirror for your site ( yes i know this obviously doesnt fit your scenario, but hallucinate with me for a sec here ) So you contact the host , and the only person on is some wierdo inbred moron who shuts the whole account off because he doesnt know what to do , and causes dugmor to lose thousand of dollars.

Granted this ISN'T the case , it could be , and why ruin someone's day for something trivial.. This thread is twice the damage contacting the host is PERSONALLY but not FINANCIALLY , and seeing as how he hurt you PERSONALLY and not FINANCIALLY , it seems fair enough
