    How many popups do surfers have to fucking close?

    I know about the value of popups since I make nice money off them myself. I also know how much money they make for programs especially for PPS ones.

    BUT

    I just clicked one of my own links over at platinumbucks with popups enabled

    and i got like 6 or 7 popups on exit
    First I was like and than more like

    How many fucking windows do surfers have to close before they can leave a site? I mean how many people who closed popups #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 do you think are going to purchase something from popup #6 or #7?

    I post this here because I am angry since the last active x window made my browser crash and I lost work due to this unnecessary shit.

      I'm sure if you agree to just take 20 bucks a signup, you could get less exit pops.

                      If you sell a strong product , you shouldn't need that many pop ups. I never have to worry with that.

                                                  You get payed what programs pay because of what they make on those popups..

                                                  As far as the 5th, 6th and 7th pop up I am sure you have heard the term cpm...Companies charge other companies per pop...

                                                                      I personally am amazed by the stupidity of surfers.. if you get like 7 pop-ups and some auto-installing stuff when you try to leave.. why, oh WHY do the idiots download/click on the banners. I've never understood why. I know they do, but I can't see why.

                                                                      More power to the pps sponsors though.

                                                                              don't tolerate a sponsor with more than 4 pop ups. That's it...I think that after 3-4 pop ups you simply loosing the surfer, and it might be less in most cases.

                                                                              But one might say that no pop ups program with PPS are surely shaved...If a sponsor have a reasonnable amount of pop ups it's worth promoting, but you have to define what is reasonnable for you.

                                                                              It's a sad shit that there is no standardisation for the use of certain promoting tactics in the porn industry. A lot more health could be acheived if there was a gobal acceptance of the maximum of pop ups allowed, the use of dialers, etc...There is enouph money in porn to establish an organisation that impose some basic rules/acceptable behaviors. But it seems it's everyone for itself...All the big industries have this, why wouldn't porn on internet ? This is the way porn will be consider more seriously in the future.
