Yes it was. It was all over the news for like 3 days until the creator and his wife crashed under the pressure and admitted it was a marketing ploy. It worked as far as I'm concerned because it was covered by every media outlet for a couple of days.

I thought the hoax one was at a paintball ranch in Vegas... TheChateau is a pretty well known place here in LA.. Either they picked up the idea and are actually doing it OR they are just trying to piggyback on the hoax... Time to find out!!
