In my opinion, all executions in the United States should be public. This way, people see what the death penalty is all about. Also, the execution should be done immediately after the conviction. I say, if they are found guility, and sentenced to death, it should be done in the court room.
Here is how it should be:
An executioner brings out a tarp and lays it on the ground. The person being put to death is brought on the tarp, arms and legs shackled, the jury then comes and holds the person down while the executioner decapitates the person found guilty of the crime.
This way, people will think before they sentence another human to death. It is funny how quick people will sentence others to death, because they know that is all they will see from that person again. When you make the death penalty a reality, people will be more reluctant to put someone to death, and it will also make sure that the jury is 1000000% sure the person is gulity of a crime punishable by death, because they know how the person is going to die.
Whew, isn't that a grand idea?
