those fuckers never responded to any emails. my username and passwords wouldnt' work even when i requested new ones and now the domains have expired and other ppl have taken them. is there any chance i could get the back based on domainthenets fuck ups?

Your domains are your most valuable asset. Don't keep them at a registrar that isn't widely recognized as a reliable company.
