OK.. can someone tell me what the heck is up with MPB?
I redid my TGP and reuploaded all new hosted galleries to my script. Approved enough for my front page. I started clicking on them to ensure that everything was kosher. First, I get hit with 4 or 5 popups. No huge deal on that since everyone has to make money. However, I had 5 downloaded icons appear on my desktop for everything from credit cards to gambling sites to porn sites. It opened my outlook express, installed I lookup toolbar, installed backdoor.AXJ, changed my homepage and put 18 changes to my registry entries.
As if this isn't bad enough. Now, I go to look at my stats in MPB and there is nothing showing there. No clicks, no install of the toolbar.. NADA. Now, what the crap is up with that. If you're going to install all this shitty spyware and scumware on my computer you can at least give me credit for it. I wasn't trying to download anything to get credit for it. I was just testing my galleries out and making sure they all came up but I couldn't even finish because I had to stop and scan my computer to remove all the bullshit that was installed. No wonder the surfers get pissed off and don't buy anything.
Just for the record this is the first time i've actually used MPB galleries and I have a sneaking suspicion it will probably be the last.
