The plane takes half-an-hour. He might waste an hour at the airport, but he's still shaving off 4 hours, give or take.

I did it faster than 6 hours in 26 foot truck 2 weeks ago moving stuff for a friend. drive the 120 that doesn't get you a ticket and don't live at the rest stops and it is 550 kms from airport to airport - so 4.5 hours. Pee and eat, call it 5 hours big max. Longer than that in a car, and your a wimp!
