                                                                                                                                                                                                    I'm not saying anything positive or negative about it. Just asking why. I was wondering if you know why. I took a lot of psychology classes in college, so I always like to analyze WHY I do certain things... why I LIKE certain things.

                                                                                                                                                                                                    I was just wondering if you've done the same, and if you're willing to post about that on a message board.

                                                                                                                                                                                                    I know that I like songs where people sort of vent or lash out at religious people that have made the song writer's life miserable. I am drawn to such things because all the negative in my life is rooted in religion. Examples of such artists: Creed and Metallica, amongst many others.

                                                                                                                                                                                                    I also like songs about "family" or "children", particularly since my son was born. I am drawn to such songs because my son is my reason for living. His innocence fascinates me. And songs like that make me reflect on him.


                                                                                                                                                                                                    So... any idea what draws you to "dark" songs?
