are marketed effectively, but don't really work? there are tons and tons of products out there in the mainstream market that are all over our tvs, newspapers, magazines, and billboards that don't do anything close to what they say. i just wanna see if people can name some of them. i've seen about a ton of commercials in the last week and i know damn well the products don't work.

what have you bought that you didn't get the benefit of like you expected? or, the product was not what it was marketed and portrayed to be?
