My nieces live with me and so I've still had to attend these things...anyway they had the dart throwing game near a wall.
Mind you when I saw the set up I knew it had to be the work of one of our great educators.
Instead of putting it against the wall so no one could cross behind it, they put it about 5 feet away from the wall and put up some string to keep people out.
However this caused the line to come out in a way that made it a pain in the ass for people to go around, so people started to cut through the back...well as I sat there and watched this some 5th grader walks behind the game as a dart ricochets off of a balloon sinking it'self into the fleshy part of his cheek right below his eye.
I still cringe thinking about it.
