        Don't know how big you are and how much you pay out but this was a problem I had in the UK paying cash.

        The taxman wanted me to pay the girls tax on top of what I paid them in cash. With a check it was no problem as he had a trail to follow.

        But then I was paying out over $75,000 a year to models.

        Here it has to be cash because checks simply do not exist.

            That sounds like they made you pay them as an employee. Here you can 1099 them.
