Valid point. the means of paying someone that you do not know for a service upfront are narrowing...
paypal who does protect you doesnt want adult
wires/cash/checks offer no protection.
Only way left to pay is if the person takes visa. And not visa through epass but has their own merchant account. How many people out there who provide services actually have their own merchant account to accept transactions...
Looks like it is going to be service first payment later if you want protection.
The escrow idea here was a great one, someone should develop that and make it real easy to transfer money too it. Another million dollar idea is a univeral rating system... would take a lot to develop it but something similar to ebay's feedback system. If i knew the person had had no problems in the past doing business with others and had references listed I would send them cash without thinking twice.
