I had a roommate back in college who, when he ran out of herb, used to pick through the shag carpet looking for any granules that might have been dropped. I used to laugh at him and tell him he was going to die from smoking the fiber from the carpet by mistake.
He actually did drink the water out of a bong once, and was sick as a dog for more than a week (knowing him, the water was probably stagnant anyway).
True story, the same guy had a vial of liquid-25 (LSD), and since he had heard that if he put a drop into his eye he would trip faster and heavier, he decided to give it a try.
After he got back from the hospital he wore a patch over one eye for quite awhile (looked kinda like Chio). When he finally could remove the eye patch, he had to wear tinted glasses ever since, due to the one eye being permanently dilated open.
The moral of the story is stupid people shouldn't do drugs.
