Besides that, there ARE armed cops in the UK. I don't know all the details - all I know is that they carry machine guns.
And they drive around in Armed Response Vehicles. Fuck knows what other kinds of weapons they have... probably grenades and rocket launchers.

The cops have lots of guns in London, and there is an equivalent of the show cops in the UK, it's called "Street Crime UK" and is on Bravo everyday, it's a lot more real than the show cops.
