    Euro People Are Confused - I Can Help

    ok, this is a football, actually several footballs. it is not round, there is no black and white hexagonal pattern on it.




    this is a football player. he is not 5'7" and he does not wear short pants.

                  I am sure soccer players are good athletes. They are in great shape to run around.

                  But Ray Lewis is 6'4" 250lbs can bench press over 350 lbs and runs 100 yard days in a little over 10 seconds.

                  NFL & NBA have finest athletes in the world.

                                  your sport is called American football because it came after the real game .. Football .. played with the foot primarily .. only the kickers in america even know what that sensation is like ..

                                      At one point American football used alot more kicking of the ball. It was basicly either a hand off, a backwards toss, or a kick (aka punt) often done before the 4th down.

                                      That alas was boring so the foward pass was invented. It was more practicle and more interesting to watch. The game was forever changed.

                                      Yes Soccer or european football may be the worlds most popular sport. This I would lend to the fact that American football has not been open to other countries.
