    I am going to LA for the first-time - what are some things to do, places to go?

    I have never been to LA but I am planning a 5 day trip next month. Any advice of places to see and things to do while in LA or Southern California would be appreciated... I am up for anything

              Maybe Manhattan Beach watch some volleyball or surfers,
              Venice Beach.
              Thats about all I can think of.

                                  LA is one of the most boring cities I've ever been to. The only reason I would go there is for business.

                                          You HAVE to eat at Micelis Italian Restaraunt, it's simply to die for!
                                          Entertainment while you eat... the waiters and waitresses are inspiring actors and singers/dancers etc.... they put on shows at intervals.... they do this because its right across the street from Universal Studios so they get LOTs of celebs in there and producers and etc....

                                          Micelis is in Studio City
                                          :-)

                                          Must do it!
                                          We drive 2 hours from San Diego at least once a month just to eat there!
