So... I was sideline enjoying my drink and watching people getting whacked with balls.
Michael from SexEntertain, JMK from Full on Video and Sean from SweetSensations put me on their Dodgeball team...last minute.
I'm like sure why not...we all used to play paintball together and that was fun...so we planned our strategy.
We get called to the court, I run like hell to grab as many of the dodgeballs up for grabs. I throw, I catched, I hung in there a long time, I even hit someone.
But little did I know that Mitch from NetBilling on the opposing team has a fast ball going 200 mph.
they're flying at me...I jumped, I ducked, I ran, I 'dodged' and then...
he nailed me...in order to get back in the game you have to either to take off a piece of clothing or do a shot of Jager. Well, I chose the Jager .
i do a fast shot and back on the court I go running, dodging, throwing...
Marc from CJ was MCing the event and by the 3rd time I got hit, he suggested I take an article of clothing off instead of doing shots...I should have listened to him.(Marc rocked btw as the MC. funny as hell!)
3 shots later I am on the court again and after a few throws, my dodgeball moment is over, whacked again! now i'm buzzed and need Rolaids!
Long story short, this is what I learned....
1. Steve Lightspeed came up with an awesome event
2. Always choose to take clothes off vs. doing shots of Jager then running around playing dodgeball.
3. Don't play dodgeball in a skirt
4. Don't play without shoes on.
5. Always try to play on the side that doesn't have u looking into the sun.
6. I have to quit smoking. (wheeeze!)
7. When someone asks you to be on their dodgeball team after you've been drinking beers and eating wings at a bar for 3 hours, kindly say no and get the hell off the court before they pick you up and carry you right into the battle.
And what I remember the most? Laughing my ass off as I walked off the court because of how much fun it was.
