why wouldnt you post your own galleries if its sucha sure thing moneymaker? That's what i dont understand about paid gallery spots. if they are such a sure thing why dont tgp owners put thier own galleries up and make the money themselves?

2. FHGs hurt the productivity
3. because it's their choice and up to the webmaster to pay it, or not.

Maybe they don't have time to make galleries all day, so better to sell the spots to gallery builders.

Easy question - Easier answer

they specialize in building tgp's not galleries. more money can be made selling gallery spots to people who can maximize revenue from the traffic. meaning they can sell spots for more than they could make.

If I bought a spot and it was listed for 5 days, if I made the projected 10 sales a day with a sponsor paying $35 per sign up, I would only make back $1750 in 5 days. Which means that each of the listings would have to produce atleast that in order for me just to get my money back and profit anything. I dunno $3500 is alot for some gallery listings. Am I way offbase here? Did I do my math wrong?

i really dont like the way these guys are selling traffic on a monthly basis just like GTS because if the spot if profitable it will never be open for purchase again. I like the way cybercatinc has it where you can just buy a certain amount of links

Means you need 100 sales a month just to break even.

Maybe at half the cost it would be worth doing, but 140k to your gallery that means you need to break even...

3.3 sales a day
1/42424 conversion on views per gallery
you'd send 2800 hits to sponsor per day @ 2% clickthru

so you'd need to convert 1/849 to just break even.

6 galleries for more or less 24 days is around 1800$
