    No TV is bliss...

    Moved into a new place a little over a week ago and haven't bothered having cable turned on (it's free here: included in the rent). I can't say that I miss it at all.

    What's the longest you've gone without TV?

      I think a month one time. I don't even hardly ever watch TV at all anymore and haven't in years. Not sure why I'm paying $65 a month to the cable company for.

              I haven't had cable in 4 months.. I never got it turned on. Thought it would help me focus on working. However now I spend 10 hours a day surfing through five local channels all wrapped up in the crappiest tv shows they have to offer.

                      Once a month there's a thread with people "bragging" how they don't have or don't watch tv. FYI- no one cares. It's not a badge of honor to do without.
