I sure as hell hope that Canadians don't do that down in the USA.
I think you should learn to quit while your ahead. While its obvious this redneck fuck-head only represents the lowest common denominator within both our countries and most Americans do not agree with his dumb shit, you decide instead of keeping your comments aimed at him to blast ALL AMERICANS.

Your starting to come off a bad as and as ignorant as he does in some of your post. While I think all your anger is aimed at people like him, as is mine, you should remember to keep that anger directed at only him.

Its that fact that instead of aiming anger at him, your making broad, sweeping statements about Americans that cause more regular Americans to think poorly of Canadians and they want to fire back at you and all other Canadians.

I have news for you, I have lived in both countries for years and both countries have their fair share of asswipes and what may also surprise you is both countries teach a very national oriented, not-so-true version of history.

For the record, the only people I have ever hear claiming American won WWII are Canadians. Sure Americans take pride in our part of the war, maybe the same way Canadians take pride in their part of the war. I don't see many Canadians walking around saying, "Boy those Americans really helped us kick some Nazi ass!" So why do you get all pissed when Americans don't take every chance to pat other countries on the back?

Fuck were Americans, so we look at OUR part, just like Canadians look at THEIR part. Its not that we ever discredit any other nations involvement, just that we focus on our own more than others, just like YOU do. Just like *gasp* all other nations.

Not to mention when we learn this stuff in History classes, we learn it as "Allied Forces," not "American Forces."

You know what else, I am blessed to have two Grandfathers who are not only veterans of WWII but, one Canadian and one American and both escaped POWs. Technically the Canadian is my wifes Grandfather, however I have so much respect for him I look at him as my own and he is the reason I decided to take her family name instead of her taking mine. We were actually going to write a book together, an American and Canadian, both in WWII, both pilots, both shot down, both caputred, both escaped, both entirely different stories of the same war with entirely similar circumstances; but my grandfather died suddenly so we didn't get his stories in order to finish it.

Back to my point!
Remember who your friends are and keep point your anger aimed at the right places/people or else you may make some enemies you didn't intend on making. At least one common bond we share is that both of our countries have some rather intollerable fuck-heads we have to deal with!!!
