When my father died I prayed like crazy. Yes I wanted him to live but that was because I didn't him to leave me.
In the end I was praying for me, not him.
On the other hand my father prayed because he looked back at his life and there was so many things he felt he left unfinished or should have said. He was scared that God was going to be angry with him.
In the end he knew he was dying and he was praying to stay because he thought he was still needed by everyone around him.Comment
